OKAY.IT'S NOT A STORY OR SONG.IT'S A GAME! buuuuut.it rhymes.and it's fun.

Need: chairs or cones; color the egg cards different colors (although some can be the same; for older kids, color more advanced colors (i.e. maroon, etc)

This is usually a game of tag. I am starting it as an in-class game and as the spring weather unfolds and the students get the rhythm and mechanics of the game, I will add the 'tag' part. Is there a casino in miami. At this point, when the students are supposed to 'run', they will simply stand up. I will introduce the 'run' and 'tag' part at a later date.or never. ;-)

1. Students stand behind a line. (In class, they will sit in their chairs). They choose a color (or a color card) and keep their color a secret from the SLP (Big Bad Wolf)

2. Teach the rhyme and their responses using picture visuals, speech, and gestures:

SLP: 'Knock Knock!'

Kids: 'Who's There?'

SLP: 'The Big Bad Wolf!'

Kids: 'What Do You Want?'

SLP: 'Colored Eggs!'

Kids: 'What Color?'

3. The SLP (BBW) starts naming (with or w/o visuals depending on needs) colors (more than 1 child can have the same color). If a child's name is called out, the child has to run from behind the line and out around a cone and back to base without being tagged (or in-class, the child has to stand up). If the child is tagged, then he/she is the next BBW.

Music by Frank Churchill | Lyrics by Frank Churchill and Ann Ronell
From 'The Three Little Pigs'

Who's afraid of the big bad wolf
Big bad wolf, big bad wolf?
Who's afraid of the big bad wolf?
Tra la la la la.

Who's afraid of the big bad wolf
Big bad wolf, big bad wolf?
Who's afraid of the big bad wolf?
Tra la la la la.

Long ago there were three pigs
Little handsome piggy-wigs
For the big, bad very big very bad wolf
They didn't give three figs.

Number one was very gay
And he built his house of hay
With a hey hey toot
Hey blew on his flute
And he played around all day.

Number two was fond of jigs
And so he built his house with twigs
Heigh diddle-diddle
He played on his fiddle
And danced with lady pigs.

Number three said 'Nix on tricks
I will build my house with bricks.'
He had no chance
to sing and dance
'Cause work and play don't mix.

Ha ha ha! The two little
Do little pigs just winked and laughed. Ha ha!

Who's afraid of the big bad wolf
Big bad wolf, big bad wolf?
Who's afraid of the big bad wolf?
Tra la la la la.

Came the day when fate did frown
And the wolf blew into town.
With a gruff 'puff-puff' he puffed just enough
And the hay house fell right down.

Terraria 1 4 mobile. One and two were scared to death
of the big bad wolfie's breath.
'By the hair of your chin-ny-chin,
I'll blow you in.'
And the twig house answered yes.

No one left but number Three
To save the piglet family.
When they knock
He fast unlocked
And said, 'Come in with me!'

Now they all were safe inside
And the bricks hurt wolfie's pride
So, he slid down the chimney
And, oh, by Jimney
In the fire he was fried.

The Big Bad Wolf Game

Ha ha ha!
The three little, free little pigs rejoice and laughed.
Ha ha!
